Idaho

We got home from San Diego late on thursday night and headed to Idaho (without Thad) on Saturday morning. Friday Carly was still feeling really icky...lethargic, pale, not eating...but there were no Dr's offices open because it was July 3 so we ended up taking her to the ER to get checked out. They wanted to do a catheter and IV but I wouldn't let them and it turned out she had a nasty case of the flu. So off to Idaho we went loaded up with tylenol, mortin and a baby with the flu. We spent the 4th of July with my parents in Idaho Falls and watched the fireworks.
We made it to the cabin on sunday and spent a week there. The cabin was a little busy so we bunked up with my mom and dad in their room. We went to Yellowstone and saw Old Faithful, kayaked Cliff Lake, rafted/kayaked Box River, Cayson played with the big boys, went to Playmill and spent a lot of time playing outside at the cabin.

My dad took Cayson out on a quad ride the night before we had to leave and Cayson came home with a bouquet of wild flowers for me.
Saturday we went to Bear World with Becky and the girls. Cayson had a great time playing and going on the rides with his cousins. Carly was very tired and quite grumpy so we took a nap in the truck and missed out on the festivities.

We spent one afternoon at the park where we had a picnic lunch and the kids played on the waterslides. It was cold outside and the wind was blowing but somehow they still wanted to play in the water. I was able to see my friend Cara who I hadn't seen 5 years. She is due with her 2nd in October(?) so it was fun to be together prego. Idaho was a blast but it was great to get back home to see my wonderful hubby, who we greatly missed!

(here I am in all my 32 weeks pregnant glory....ick!)
