Girls Night

I haven't had a girls night since before I had Burke so it was great to go out with Dawn and Mariah to see New Moon. Dawn got in line early and got us some nice seats! It was great to get out and enjoy myself and relax WITHOUT kids!!! It was great to spend time with 2 of my neices too! I wasn't going to go but I'm glad that Thad was willing to watch the kids so I could have some much needed away time.

Cayson

Cayson and I went on a date last week to the hockey game. We had such a fun time eating too much, freezing in the arena and staying out way too late! Cayson loved watching the guys skate and even had a few pucks shot at the glass right above his head! He now wants to play hockey!

Burke

Burke is 12 weeks old and was blessed today by his daddy. It was great to have the family over after church and eat yummy food! Sorry you missed out on the first 30 minutes Burke, daddy didn't mean to forget you in the car. :( Burke is gaining weight like a champ. He is 16 lbs (only 6 lbs lighter than Carly and 17 months younger!). He is picked on by his big sister daily and will probably be one tough little boy!

By the way, thanks Aunt Maury for the awesome onesie!

Carly

Carly is 20 months today...4 months left until she is 2. Time is going by so fast! Carly's new loves are climbing and playing in the dirt. I love doing Carly's hair in pigtails, she looks so grown up! My little girl is getting so big!

Pumpkins and Halloween

While Burke was in the hospital I got pumpkins to carve with Cayson and Carly. Carly didn't like the slimy pumpkin guts but had fun trying to scoop it out with her spoon. It was fun to carve pumpkins with the kids and relax a little after being in the hospital the whole day. We look foreward to carving pumpkins with Grandmom and Granddad next year though, its just not the same without them!
We went to my neice's house for Halloween this year. Unfortunately we didn't have Cayson for halloween so it was just Carly and Burke for us. We had fun anyways although we missed him! Carly was a kitty and Burke was a skeleton. They were SOOO cute! We took Carly to about 10 houses which was enough candy for her. She loves chocolate!! Can't wait for next year when the kids are a little bigger!

Dawn has a small haunted house for the trick or treaters...Thad hid behind me the whole way through and even let out a girlish shreak...and this is the face that greets you on the way out. What you don't see is his chain saw. This is why Carly is crying in the above picture. Each time she saw him she would scream over and over again. I don't think she has forgotten about him as now she runs from the glowing skeleton head and screams when she see's a clown.
Here are some of the cousins together and some of the haunted house psychos! Halloween was fun but now I'm looking foreward to Thanksgiving and Christmas. Wouold it be too much to ask to have some cooler weather? 95 in November is just NOT cool!
