I think she was tired.

Carly and daddy were watching the UFC fight tonight.

Either she isn't impressed or she's just really tired!

Carly got a big girl bed. She looks so small!

1 year, 365 days, 52 weeks...

Happy Birthday to my little man, Burke!

Here's a little bit about Burke:

-He LOVES playing in the dog water bowl

-He eats at least one banana a day

-He is happiest when he first wakes up in the morning

-He loves taking a bath

-He has a smile that will always make me happy

-His laugh is infectious

-He no longer walks, he run everywhere

-He opens every drawer or cabinet door he can find

-He loves to climb

-He is HUGE!

-He has two different size feet

-He loves to eat...he'd eat all day if I let him

-He is STILL allergic to dairy

-He makes our family complete!

Projects

Before Thad starts school again we have been working on some projects at home. The back room has been driving me crazy. One half the room is for the kids then the other half has the big tv and the couch. Lately the kids have been taking over the whole room with all their toys. I've tried everything to organize their stuff but nothing has worked. Ikea came to the rescue!!!

We also decided that after having been in the house for a year it was time to start painting. Painting 10 foot ceilings is a chore! We are half done but it feels good to have some color on the walls!

Since we've been home...

Cayson started 1st grade.

His teacher is Mrs. Kalcevich.

He LOVES it!

His "girlfriend" Lily is in his class again...she's also our neighbor.

[She doesn't know she is his girlfriend.]

With starting 1st grade, Cayson earned himself a chore chart.

He is going to do awesome this year!

Burke has found a new love for the sandbox.

I have found another child to bring the sandbox inside.

But he's so cute!

Carly is very eager to wear big girl panties.

We just have to master the darn potty.

Maybe Woody can help with that?

And to keep cool the kids have been playing on the slip n' slide and sprinkler.

They love to put the sprinkler in the sandbox and swing over the water.

One day we will have a pool...

I can't WAIT for that day!

Idaho Summer

Our summer in pictures- out of order of course.

We went to the lake and did our own firework display.
