busy day

Today was our ward picnic and Carly sat in a swing for the first time. She actually liked, tired and all! I had a hard time getting her to look at me so these were the best that I could get. We only got to stay for an hour unfortunately since Carly was already late for her nap and extra grouchy. While she went down for her nap (1 1/2 hours!!!!) Thad and I cleaned up the garage. Ewww! Carly played while Thad and I cleaned up the house and while I walked out of the room for a minute she disappeared. The picture below is where I found her! The funny thing is, I remember doing the exact same thing!

Carly is doing all kinds of things now such as mastering going up the stairs, which I have been dreading. The sad thing is that she can only go up. Her lack of communication ability is driving me crazy!!! She has the highest pitched shreik that she uses for EVERYTHING!!! Please Carly, learn sign soon! Mornings are my favorite part of the day. She is so happy to see me when I walk into her room in the morning and is usually playing in her crib or standing there looking at the door waiting for me. Her smile and giggle in the morning makes my whole day! I hope her attitude in the morning means that she doesn't take after her daddy...he is NOT a morning person.

Little man is growing great and is very active. I am already dreading my new stretch marks as I can see some new ones on my hips...ahhhh! I'm afraid he is going to be a big boy. He is still nameless but Cohen is at the top of our list. And last but not least, Cayson lost his second tooth. Thad pulled it out and I was unprepared so I did not have my camera to take a picture. I think his 2 top teeth are next!
