Exciting news!

My baby has a tooth, yay! It is so cute just peeking through on the bottom and oh so sharp! I'm not sure how much longer this nursing thing is going to go on now that there are teeth coming in. How do you teach a 7 month old not to bite? She is also starting to sit up better now. Can't sit up on her own completely but almost there! My baby is becoming a big girl too soon!

Neils got his teeth awhile ago and didn't bite much. I have many people suggest that you flick their mouth- but i couldn't do that, then someone suggested that if they bite while nursing pull their face in toward you. It kinda smothers them shortly and they have to release their bite, it isn't painful to them and they learn quickly (you obviously don't FULL ON smother the kid, just gently pull them close to startle them...does that sound bad?)

flick her cheek after she does it... and you only have to do it a couple times before they learn that when they bite, that happens.
