We just spent Thursday-Sunday in Utah for the Shelley Family Reunion. It was great to see everyone and spend time with the family. We had a great time and can't wait for the next one!
Here we are at the Gordon B. Hinkley Alumni Building. Thad's grandfather Rulon Gene Shelley donated money to BYU in the name of his father John Franklin Shelley. They named the visitor center in the alumni building after him. We went to a luncheon to honor him with all of his descendants. It was interesting to hear the history of BYU and John Franklin Shelley.

Mom and Carly in the kiddie pool at Seven Peaks. She looks so tiny in the life vest!

Look mom, don't I look cool in your sunglasses!

Cayson and Connor. Thad and I took the boys on the slides behind them. Cayson loved the green slide because it was dark and had cool lights inside it. He sat behind me and would scream the whole way down and then laugh and want to go again. Silly boy!!

At the Stadium of fire. My sister Tondi was nice enough to take Carly for us so we could enjoy the concert and fireworks. This picture was taken before the little girl (sitting to the right of the guy in the yellow shirt) almost threw up on us...she got our seats though.

This is what Cayson thought of the Miley Cyrus concert. He liked The Blueman Group.

Cool fireworks!!!

Cayson and Mom and the fireworks.

Such a tired boy. Unfortunately we were stuck in the parking lot for 45 minutes.

Fun family picture on the train!

Shoot! Had we known we could have tried to catch up with you guys. I have never been on the Heber Creeper. Is it still called that? Looks like fun!!
Looks like a fun trip and reunion. Luck was on your side when you didn't get barfed on. hahah
You guys looked like you had SO much fun! I laughed at the life vest picture. It was pretty cute. Glad you had a good fourth!!
I like that last picture...so cute! Glad you had fun!
It's really good seeing pictures of your family! I googled my Pappaw's name trying to find an oral history someone had done on him that I'd found online a few months ago, and came across this.
Thad, if your son isn't the spitting image of a Merrill, I don't know who else could be.
Your family look awesome.
