Today I took the kids to the splash pad.
After sweating to death at Cayson's baseball game playing in the water seemed appropriate.
Its days like today that I WISH WE HAD A POOL!!!!
We played in the water, splashed, got soaked, jumped in puddles, sprayed each other,
drank the water (Carly), ate some leaves (Burke) and had a great time.
Carly was a bit apprehensive at first but soon warmed up and started playing.
Burke didn't have a choice.
I plopped him down and didn't hear a peep out of him.
He's such a good boy!
Cayson was as always, a great big brother.
They had a lot of fun and we look forward to more splash pad trips this summer!
I think Burke is saying..."Seriously mom? I'm getting wet!"
And HE would be the reason for getting wet!
Ummm, thirsty?
