The date is set!

Our delivery date was set today.....scary! My c-section is set for Thursday, February 21st. I'll be exactly 32 weeks which is 4 weeks from tomorrow. I feel like I am cheating since I'm not going the full 40 weeks, but its not by choice. If we weren't having problems we obviously wouldn't be delivering early so I guess I shouldn't feel that way. Now that we have the day set, and it is so soon, I am starting to feel sad that it is almost over. I actually like being pregnant...it does have a few very nice perks! I am very excited to see her but sad about missing the last 2 months. And I am going to miss feeling her move too. This may not be going as planned and hoped for but in 4 weeks I will have a pretty little girl and none of this will make a difference. Maybe next time??? Cayson went with me today to see the Dr. He was fascinated by hearing the heartbeat and wanted to hear it again. The Dr even put the doppler up to him so he could hear his own heartbeat. He thought it was the coolest thing and wanted to take it home with us. I wish I had a picture of his face when he heard the baby, it was priceless! That's it!

Wow! I'm sure you have a lot to do in the next four weeks. When you get to hold Carly it will be the most amazing thing ever! I wish you all the best with the delivery and her care afterward. Once again, I'm so glad you have great doctors there to watch out for her.

Congrats Lacy! So you're naming her Barbara? I like that so much more than Carly - plus, as is evidenced in my children's names, I like to name kids after people I love.

I'm so happy for your guys, and I can't wait for someone else in this family to experience raising a girl!

No, she'll be named Carly. Her middle name is Barbara. Still named after her, just using it as her middle name.

Hey I just wanted to let you know that your family has been in my thoughts and prayers. I have been keeping up on your blogs and I hope the delivery goes well. My brother Matt and his wife had a little boy right before thanksgiving with severe heart problems. It has been a long two months,a lot of surgeries and more to come and a real trial of our faith, but I have seen miracles happen on behalf of this little boy and I fully expect that you will see miracles happen for you and your family.

Wow, Nathalie, good to hear from you. We thought you fell off the face of the earth! Thad will be happy to know you are still alive. Are you ever in Arizona?
